BNSF Railway Closing Adams Street Crossing Starting Wednesday Morning

BNSF anticipates closure from 6 a.m. Wednesday to 5 p.m. Friday to rehabilitate the surface

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The BNSF Railway will close the railroad crossing at Adams Street for three days starting at 6 a.m. Wednesday (8/23) to rehabilitate the surface. The closure is scheduled to continue until 5 p.m. Friday (8/25).

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes, follow detour signs if they must drive the area, and drive cautiously and safely around the work zone because there will be workers and equipment present.  Advanced warning signs are in place to inform motorists of the closure.

The project includes night work that will take place between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. Pedestrian access will be intermittent during the course of the work.
