City of Riverside Asks Vendors to Share Feedback in Survey
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The City of Riverside Purchasing Division is inviting past, current, and prospective vendors to participate in a vendor survey through Feb. 26.
The City is seeking feedback on what is working well and what could be improved with the purchasing and contracting process to make it easier for all types of organizations to do business with the City. The City is especially interested in gaining feedback from local businesses that have worked with, or considered working with, the City of Riverside.
The feedback will help the City modernize procurement and emphasize community well-being, economic opportunity, and high-performing government in alignment with the City's Strategic Plan.
Each year, the City purchases goods and services to support the well-being of residents and keep the City operating daily. These purchases range from items like vehicles and computers to services like landscaping, security, and janitorial, and large public projects like repairing streets and constructing buildings. The City is committed to ensuring this process is straightforward and accessible to best serve its diverse community and support local economic growth.
The vendor survey is available online at riversideca.gov/finance/vendor-survey.asp in both English and Spanish. The survey is open to businesses and organizations of any sector or size, whether they have done business with the City.
All responses are anonymous and will be analyzed by the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab, an independent evaluator. Participation will not impact existing or prospective business with the City.
For more information, or to troubleshoot any technical questions regarding the survey, respondents should contact [email protected].
