Don’t pack away your swimsuits quite yet and join us for Riverside PRCSDs Extended Aquatics Programs!

RIVERSIDE, CA –

The summer heat is here to stay! Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCSD) is happy to announce the extension of the Aquatics programming through October 5, 2019. The PRCSD will be offering Learn-to-Swim and Recreation Swim at Sippy Woodhead Pool, Shamel Park Pool and Hunt Park Pool.

The extended programming will operate as follows:

After school Learn-to-Swim lessons

• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:45 p.m. at Hunt Park and Sippy Woodhead

Learn-to-Swim lessons

• Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. -12:45 p.m. at Hunt Park, Sippy Woodhead and Shamel Park

Lesson fees are as low as $13 per session through the limited Operation Splash and Red Cross Centennial Campaign scholarships.

Recreation Swim

• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8:30 p.m.
• Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. at Hunt Park, Sippy Woodhead and Shamel Park

Entry fees are $1.25 for youth, $2.50 for adults and $1.75 for participants ages 60+. Lap swimming will also be available during these times at both Sippy Woodhead and Shamel Park aquatics facilities.
