RIVERSIDE, CA – On Thursday, April 20, 2023, an attempted kidnapping occurred at Jackson Street and Miller Avenue in Riverside at approximately 7:40 p.m.  It was reported that a Black male adult in his mid-20’s tried to force a female victim into his black vehicle.  The victim was able to escape but was injured, and the suspect fled in his vehicle.

Then on Friday, July 21st, the Corona Police Department investigated a similar crime that occurred in the nighttime hours within their city, resulting in the arrest of 25-year-old Roderick Eugene Arline Jr. of Riverside.
