02/06/2020, 7:56 p.m.: 70 acres, 50% contained.
Full containment expected late Friday evening.
Total of 221 firefighters responded.
Human caused, most probable due to an unattended encampment.
No injuries reported.
No structures damaged.

 

02/06/2020, 3:50 p.m.: Significant improvement.
70 acres, 30% contained.
Crews continue to mop-up hot spots.
All evacuations lifted.
No reported structures damaged.
No reported injuries.

 

02/06/2020, 2:42 p.m.: Significant progress on fire due to arrival of mutual aid resources, including air craft, and favorable fuel conditions.
70 acres, 20% contained
ALL EVACUATIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED

Santa Ana Bike Path is closed - Local side streets are closed to local residents only

 

02/06/2020, 11:45 a.m.:  Road Closures - The Santa Ana Bike Path is closed from Ryan Bonaminio Park to Anza Narrows Park.
 

NEW INCIDENT, 02/06/2020, 9:53 a.m.: The City of Riverside Fire Department is working a vegetation fire off the Santa Ana Bike Path in the area of Grand Avenue. The fire is currently 4 acres with 0% containment. Active suppression efforts and structure protection is in place.
